Our Education

Kingsway Christian School provides a structured, well-rounded education from Grade 00 to Grade 7, rooted in Christian values and aligned with the CAPS curriculum.

Our approach focuses on building strong academic foundations while supporting the development of the whole child—intellectually, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. We place particular emphasis on literacy, ensuring that learners develop confident reading and communication skills from an early age.

In addition to the core curriculum, learners are exposed to technology through the Knowledge Network programme, including robotics and coding across all grades.

Grade R (Foundation Year)

Grade R serves as an important bridge between early childhood and formal schooling. At Kingsway, this phase is led by a qualified teacher supported by a class assistant, creating a nurturing and structured environment.

Learning through play is central at this stage. Activities are designed to develop the child holistically—supporting physical, emotional, and social growth, while gently introducing structured learning.

Foundation Phase (Grades 1–3)

The Foundation Phase builds essential academic skills and confidence, with a strong emphasis on literacy and numeracy.

Intermediate Phase (Grades 4–6)

As learners progress, the curriculum expands to include a broader range of subjects, encouraging deeper understanding and critical thinking.

Senior Phase (Grade 7)

Kingsway integrates technology into the learning experience through the Knowledge Network programme. All learners are introduced to:

These skills equip learners for a rapidly changing world and build confidence in problem-solving and innovation.
